Pennyrile Baptist Bible Institute

 

Purpose

The Pennyrile Baptist Bible Institute is a continuing education program designed to train lay people to be better prepared to serve the Lord in the local church. The enrollment is open to all adults who have a sincere desire to know more of God's Word.

General Information

The Pennyrile Baptist Bible Institute is a ministry of Greater Cumberland Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, pastored by Ken Shaver.

Classes meet Monday evenings beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Classroom 2 on the campus of:

The semester lasts thirteen weeks. The fall semester begins in the month of September on the Monday after Labor Day. The spring semester begins on the fourth Monday in the month of January. School is not in session during the summer months.

Three classes are offered each semester. There are a total of thirteen classes in each program of study. If a student enrolls in all three classes each semester, the student will finish the Bible Institute in two years.

Students may enroll in the Bible Institute online, or in person at the church. There are no pre-requisite classes. The cost is $100 per semester for enrolling in all three classes, or $40 per class. Additionally there will be one workbook and one textbook per class  that the students must purchase. Textbooks and supplementary materials will be available in the Church Bookstore. Students should bring a Bible and a pen to class.

Students register for classes online or at the church up to the first night of the semester. Payments are accepted at the church.
